The ILLCS Germany 2019 Championships Report
The second ILLCS was a complete success. We almost tripled the numbers of fights and participants and still, we were ahead of our timetable.
This year we started our Luta Livre Championships at 11:30 and we left the venue at 20:00, cleaned and swept.
The Organisation was a little more demanding this time as not all our mats could be delivered, so we had to organize around 140 square meters extra, but we could solve the problem.
With the about 40 divisions that we could fill this time, we now know that we will stop the registry at least 5 days prior to the next event and not only 3 days before like this time. So there will be enough time for every Grappler to check the pools.
We had around 200 competitors from all the different grappling styles like BJJ, Luta Livre, Wrestling and many more. This is exactly what we want. People from every Submission oriented style who are interested in a sub only tournament.
Around 400 matches were fought and finally, we could keep our promises fort he second tournament. Although we are a sub only tournament that includes heel hooks etc. there were again very few injuries and we had very positive feedback.

Currently, we are working on the ILLCS Germany 2020, the Europeans in 2020 the ILLCS Netherlands in 2021 and hope to announce them soon.
